Welcome to Paul Hilliam

Hello friends! And thanks for visiting my brand new website! I know you’re enjoying this week with our guest from England, Paul Hilliam. As you have already seen, he’s a terrific conductor and great guy. Paul and I met a number of years ago and we’ve been involved in several projects together. He’s a fine oboist, an assistant headmaster at a distinguished private school, and in his “free” time, you might be interested to know that he has written four history books, published here in the US,  that are targeted to young teenage readers. You know, a real slacker…….I am very appreciative of David and Tom’s work with the GLCO last week while I was in New York. It was a real thrill to be leading an orchestra in Carnegie Hall with our own Andy Tuck playing in the viola section. It was a filmed for television and will be seen eventually on PBS as part of the From The Top series.  We’ll make sure to let you all know when it will be broadcast.Good luck this weekend!
